For most vehicle thieves a neon pink Land Rover might not be top of their list of targets.

But offenders stole the conspicuous contraption from a property in Gainsborough on January 5.

The versatile vehicle belongs to a member of Lincolnshire Community Assistance Team (CAT) - a selfless team of volunteers assisting communities in adverse conditions with the help of their 4x4 vehicles.

The group said it does not comment on the personal matters of members.

If you have seen it or have any further information about the theft, contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
